Scholarship Submissions for 2017 are CLOSED

ALL APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT AN ONLINE APPLICATION AND MAIL IN ALL REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER FOR THEIR APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, MARCH 10, 2017 AT 5pm EST 

Any mailed documents must be postmarked by the deadline. NO APPLICATIONS will be considered if they do not follow the requirements and deadline.

 

Requirements

PLEASE REVIEW ALL REQUIREMENTS BEFORE REGISTERING USING THE LINK ABOVE. 

In order to qualify for the scholarship, you MUST mail in as many of the required documents as available in the list below along with filling out the registration form on the right.

  • Submit an official transcript and ACT score to the address below
  • Submit 2 letters of recommendation, proof of extracurricular activities, certificates, and/or awards
  • Submit a brief biography about yourself (between 100-200 words)
  • Must have a 3.3 GPA or higher
  • Must be a graduating High School Senior or College graduate continuing onto higher education

To qualify for the Newcomer Scholarship, you must be a newcomer to America within the last 5 years in addition to the requirements above. Please check the Newcomer box in your online registration for your application to be considered.

Scholarship Award Terms

  1. Scholarship recipients are REQUIRED to attend the annual Gala. Non-attendance will be considered a forfeit of the award barring illness or an emergency.
  2. All awards are a one time, non-renewable grant.
  3. Awards are for high school graduates and college graduates continuing on to higher education. Awards must be used within the academic year they are awarded barring illness, emergency, or military service.
